Who we are
Qidu Legal Translation (“Qidu”, “we”, “us”) operates www.qidu.hk. For any privacy question, write to transmaster@qidu.hk.

- Information you send us. When you use the quote request form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company, and the details you give about your document, languages and deadline.
- Technical data. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To provide translation services if you become a client.
- To keep the website secure.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, once a project starts, on performing our contract with you. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It stores one small item in your browser’s local storage to remember that you have dismissed the notice at the bottom of the page. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Client documents
Documents you send for translation are handled under our confidentiality controls and any agreement we sign with you. Please do not include confidential text in the website form.
Sharing and transfers
We share personal information only with team members and translators who need it to handle your request, and with service providers who support our email and website. Our teams work in mainland China and Hong Kong, so information you send may be processed outside your own country. We take steps to protect it wherever it is processed.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, and client records for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email transmaster@qidu.hk.
