Quality and process

A defined workflow, shared terminology and sentence-by-sentence review, with support that continues after delivery.

How a project moves

Every order follows the same path, from a clear brief to a final check before delivery.

  2. OrderAn account manager confirms requirements and places the order.
  3. AssignmentA project manager matches the document to the right translators.
  4. Pre-processingTerminology and formatting are prepared before translation.
  5. TranslationTranslators work to the agreed terminology and style.
  6. ReviewA reviewer checks the translation sentence by sentence.
  7. Quality assuranceConsistency, numbers, names and format are checked.
  8. DeliveryFinal files are delivered, with support after delivery.

Managing large projects

When several translators work on one deal, these practices keep the result consistent.

Terminology
One agreed glossary for the whole project, prepared before translation and kept up to date as the project evolves.
Format
One layout standard, so the translated document mirrors the original.
Splitting and merging
Large documents are divided across translators and merged back into a single, uniform text.
Team discussion
Difficult points are discussed within the team and resolved once, then applied everywhere.
Translation and review in step
Review runs alongside translation rather than after it, which shortens turnaround on urgent work.

Quality controls

Quality is checked at each stage of the process and across the whole team.

People

We recruit selectively, test translators rigorously and deploy them conservatively, only on work that fits their experience.

Terminology

Terms are agreed with you before work begins and managed dynamically throughout the project.

Technology

Our own tools support translators and monitor consistency and errors. See the tools

Systems

Translator rankings, performance targets and 360-degree evaluation keep standards measurable.

Stamped translations

For documents that must be submitted to Chinese authorities.

Accepted by authorities
Stamped translations are accepted for submission to the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, courts at all levels and other bodies.
Consistency certificate
We can issue a certificate confirming that the translation is consistent with the original, which speeds up filings.
Reviewed, then stamped
Every document is reviewed before it is stamped. The stricter the stamping process, the more readily the translation is accepted.
Supporting credentials
Business licence, corporate membership of the Translators Association of China, ISO 9001 quality management certification and a national grade-A taxpayer credit rating.

Support after delivery

Legal work rarely ends when the document is sent.

Unlimited revisions: no limit on the number of revisions, the time period or the word count.

We were the first in our industry to offer this, and we stay with the project until you are satisfied.

Tell us about your document.

Send us the document type, languages and deadline. We reply with a quote and a proposed timeline. Urgent projects supported.
